IKE DWECK AT THE MOROCCAN LOUNGE ON THE SAFE WITH ME TOUR FT. ZACHY
Check-out images below from throughout the night, along with more information on the artists and a brief quote from my pop-in with Ike after the show.
Brooklyn’s Ike Dweck proved exactly why he’s a rising name in rock during his stop at the Moroccan Lounge in LA along the route of his first-ever headliner tour. He brought his vulnerable lyricism and signature raw tone to a crowd that already knew most of his songs by heart. Paired with an equally candid opening performance from special guest Zachy, the night felt less like a typical concert and more like a shared, meaningful moment between the artists and the room.
Zachy opened the night with a mix of personal indie-folk songs and storytelling, easily shifting between childhood memories, love songs, and jokes that made the packed room feel incredibly casual and close.
When Ike Dweck took the stage, the energy got a bit grittier but stayed just as honest. With a raw vocal style and songs rooted in personal experiences, he held the room from the start. Both artists brought a lot of natural personality to the stage, making for a seamless lineup.
Backstage, Ike shared that his favorite thing about music is that it helps him to “let out pent up feelings and emotions.” That level of vulnerability That kind of headspace translates directly to his live performance, creating a genuine connection with the crowd. When asked about his favorite part of being on the road, his answer was simple: “Seeing people sing along”—even if he can’t always hear them over the venue's monitors.
Thanks to Ike and Zachy for chatting with me. Congratulations again on your live shows - safe travels and enjoy the rest of the tour!
Special thanks to Tallulah PR & MGMT for getting us connected for this show!
